Factory Manager – Wood Manufacturing & Interior Fit-Out

Location: Barka Industrial Area, Sultanate of Oman
Company: Development Station Spc (Al Naqsh Al Raqi)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to lead our wood manufacturing and interior fit-out production facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in factory operations, production planning, quality control, workforce management, and manufacturing efficiency within the woodworking, doors, cabinetry, furniture, or interior fit-out industry.

*Key Requirements*
Minimum 15 years of experience in wood manufacturing, joinery, furniture, doors, cabinetry, or interior fit-out production.
Proven experience managing a production factory with multiple departments.
Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, manufacturing processes, and production workflows.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ability to lead and manage factory supervisors, foremen, technicians, and labor teams.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and continuous improvement practices.
Knowledge of health, safety, and factory compliance requirements.
Ability to monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.
Experience with ERP systems and production reporting is an advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred.
*Responsibilities*
Oversee daily factory operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules.
Monitor manufacturing quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
Manage manpower, machinery, materials, and workflow efficiency.
Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and installation teams.
Reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize factory performance.
Ensure timely delivery of projects and products.
Prepare operational reports and performance analyses for management.
Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
The Candidate should have experience in project costing & budgeting.
