Job Title: Waitress – Casual Dining Restaurant

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waitress to join our casual dining restaurant team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Present menus, explain menu items, and make food and beverage recommendations.

• Take accurate customer orders and enter them into the POS system.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant standards.

• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and respond to any requests.

• Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset tables for the next guests.

• Process customer payments accurately using cash, card, or other payment methods.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area in accordance with Bahrain food safety regulations.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary.

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing the dining area and restocking supplies.

• Follow company policies, grooming standards, and health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waitress or in customer service is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

• Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
