Civil Architectural Draftsman in Jubail

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Architectural Draftsman with strong knowledge of architectural and civil drafting. Candidates with Electro-Mechanical (MEP) project experience will be given preference. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate construction drawings, coordinating with engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural and civil shop drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and as-built drawings.

Develop and revise drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.

Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings to eliminate clashes.

Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations from approved drawings.

Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and prepare shop drawings accordingly.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, and client requirements.

Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and consultants for drawing approvals.

Maintain drawing registers and document revisions.

Support the engineering team during project execution and technical submissions.

Prepare red-line markups and update as-built drawings upon project completion.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil/Architectural Draftsman.

Experience in Electro-Mechanical (MEP) projects is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).

Knowledge of Revit and BIM will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of architectural detailing, civil construction methods, and MEP coordination.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience in industrial, commercial, and EPC construction projects.

Knowledge of Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or other major client standards is an advantage.

Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
