Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage the overall construction operations of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between projects, site teams, management, and support functions while driving operational efficiency, productivity, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the overall construction operations of multiple projects.

Manage, coordinate, and support Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams, and other operational staff.

Ensure effective coordination between head office and project sites.

Monitor the overall performance, progress, productivity, quality, and resource utilization of projects.

Manage and optimize manpower, materials, equipment, and other operational resources.

Ensure projects are properly planned, coordinated, and executed according to company objectives.

Identify operational challenges, project risks, and resource constraints and implement effective solutions.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments when required.

Monitor operational costs and promote efficient use of company resources.

Establish and improve operational procedures, systems, and controls.

Support Project Managers in resolving major project and site issues.

Monitor team performance and ensure accountability across project teams.

Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, and project delivery.

Provide regular operational reports and performance updates to senior management.

Take ownership of overall operational performance and ensure company projects are executed efficiently and successfully.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in construction operations and management.

Strong experience in building construction and project operations.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Proven experience managing and developing project and site teams.

Strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and operational controls.

Excellent resource planning and problem-solving abilities.

Strong decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Results-oriented approach with a strong focus on operational efficiency, productivity, and project performance.
