Are you an experienced Satellite Communications professional with a passion for designing next-generation connectivity solutions?

We are looking for a Satellite Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced satellite communication solutions supporting enterprise, government, and defense sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies including VSAT, L-band, LEO/MEO/GEO satellite networks, IoT, AI, and hybrid satellite-terrestrial architectures.

Key Responsibilities

As our Satellite Solutions Architect, you will:

*Design end-to-end satellite communication solutions utilizing VSAT (Ku/Ka-band), L-band (Iridium/Inmarsat), and hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks.

*Develop system architectures, RF designs, link budgets, gateway solutions, and resilient network topologies.

*Evaluate satellite technologies, hardware vendors, and service providers to identify the most effective technical solutions.

*Lead technical solution development for bids, RFPs, and client proposals, including architecture design, BoQs, and compliance documentation.

*Collaborate with engineering, NOC, PMO, and commercial teams throughout solution development and project delivery.

*Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilot deployments, and network optimization initiatives.

*Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies such as LEO constellations, 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), software-defined satellites, AI-driven network optimization, and IoT integration.

*Participate in technical discussions, client presentations, vendor negotiations, and project handovers.

Qualifications

*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

*Minimum 10 years of experience in satellite communication systems design, implementation, and operations.

*Strong expertise in:

-VSAT (Ku/Ka-band)

-L-band satellite communications

-LEO, MEO & GEO satellite systems

-RF engineering and link budget analysis

-IP networking, QoS, routing, and redundancy

*Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

-Hughes

-iDirect

-Gilat

-Comtech

-Iridium

-Inmarsat

-Eutelsat

*Experience preparing technical proposals, responding to RFPs, and supporting bid management.

*Knowledge of ITU regulations, spectrum management, cybersecurity, and network management platforms.

*Excellent communication and presentation skills. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
