Self-Service Device Installation Technician – Sultanate of Oman

Dynamic For Development and Trading Spc is looking for a field technician based in the Sultanate of Oman to work on a freelance basis, installing and commissioning self-service devices at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Coordinate with customers to confirm installation appointments.
– Inspect the installation site and verify the availability of power, internet connectivity, and sufficient space.
– Install, secure, connect, and commission self-service devices according to company guidelines.
– Perform basic operational tests and confirm that all required functions are working properly.
– Provide customers with basic usage instructions.
– Document each installation with clear photos, the device serial number, test results, and customer confirmation when required.
– Immediately report any faults, missing components, site issues, or visible damage.
– Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company appropriately at customer locations.

Requirements:

– Must be based in the Sultanate of Oman and able to travel to customer locations.
– Previous technical experience, or strong technical ability, in installing electronic devices, POS systems, printers, displays, kiosks, or network equipment.
– Ability to use basic hand tools safely.
– A suitable means of transportation is required.
– A smartphone suitable for communication and installation documentation.
– Good communication skills, punctuality, and professional customer service.
– Must be legally eligible to work or provide freelance services in accordance with company requirements and applicable regulations.
