SAFETY OFFICER With OIL & GAS FIELD Experience in Manama

Safety Officer (4-Month Contract)

MINIMUM EXP 5 YRS IN OIL & GAS FIELD

CANDIDATES AVAILABLE IN BAHRAIN SHOULD ONLY APPLEY

Urgently we are looking for a qualified Safety Officer.

Requirements:

1. NEBOSH Certificate (Mandatory)

2. Experience in Bapco Upstream is preferred.

Strong knowledge of:

*Risk assessment (consequence, likelihood, and risk matrix)

*Confined space work, rescue planning, controls, ventilation, AGT, and certification requirements

*Lifting operations, including sling capacity checks, inspections, lifting radius, load charts, and lifting equipment types

*Electrical safety, ELCD/RCD, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

*Accident investigation and emergency response planning

*Work at height, fall clearance calculations, component capacities, anchor points, and the hierarchy of fall protection

*Shutdown activities, hot work in confined spaces, live plant operations, positive isolation, and isolation methods

*Heat stress management, including heat-related illnesses, signs, symptoms, and preventive measures

*Oversized load transportation safety checks

*Fire safety, including fire extinguisher types, applications, inspections, and the fire triangle

*Ability to identify and report workers’ safety concerns to management and promote a proactive safety culture.

* Risk matrix, Alarp range,severity, residual risk, consequence matrix.

* Incident report time line – immediate 88883

* Fall protection types, fall distance, fall protection components capacity

*Anchorage point, carabiner,body support,lanyard etc

* LDS, live load,dead load,rated capacity, sequence of radius estimation.

* OHL clearance & distance estimation

* PTW, types, associates certificates

The work period shall commence in the first week of August 2026 and shall continue for a duration of six (6) months.
