We required a Cost Estimator.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Industry:

Signage / Manufacturing / Fabrication

Ideal Candidate Profile:

To calculate, evaluate, and estimate daily inquiries from the sales and project engineers.

Cost to be calculated based on fit for purpose.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Communicate with other departments, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.

Meets targets and schedules for costing and project delivery.

Analytical skills: you must be able to analyze project requirements to accurately estimate costs for each component.

Critical thinking: critical thinking and solid decision-making skills are a must in this job.

Time management skills: you should be able to do multiple tasks and provide cost estimates in a timely manner to help projects stay on time and on budget.

Working out what a contract will cost to deliver while ensuring it returns a profit.

Deal with the preparation, processing, and submission of bids to supply a sign or display.

Put together project plans by calculating the costs required to meet the client’s technical specifications, taking into account the cost of materials, equipment hire, labor, and other requirements.

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
