1. وضـع خطـة العلاج الطبيعي للمريض على ضوء تشخيص الطبيب المعالج وكذلك وضع الوسائل العلاجية المناسبة مع تحديد المدة الزمنية المطلوبة لتحقيق أهداف خطة العلاج
2. تطبيق الوسائل والإجراءات العلاجية طبقاً للخطة المعدة مسبقاً
3. مراجعة الخطة العلاجية بشكل دوري وتعديلها إذا اقتضت الضرورة
4. إرشاد وتوعية وتوجيه المريض وأسرته بشأن تطبيق خطة العلاج والوسائل المستعملة
5. التنسيق المستمر مع الطبيب المعالج بشأن تقدم الحالة الصحية للمريض
6. تطبيق مبادئ وقواعد السلامة العامة أثناء العمل
7. المشاركة بورش عمل الجودة النوعية فيما يخص العلاج الطبيعي
8. المشاركة ببرنامج التعليم والتدريب المستمر وحضور دورات المؤتمرات
9. القيام بأية مهام أخرى يكلف بها ضمن اختصاصه
