Planning Engineer in Manama

Location: Bahrain

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Planning Engineer – Infrastructure to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating infrastructure projects to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Develop baseline programmes, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.

Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and project presentations.

Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Monitor resource utilization and project productivity.

Support project planning, tender planning, and cost control activities.

Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities, bridges, or similar works).

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Excellent understanding of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
